Thank you for the wonderful exhibition! Going back through the Timmelsjoch we will understand much more about the history of the area. Unfortunately we have not seen any ibexes – but thank you for the explanations, we go to see them now!
Positions from the 1940s
The preserved, confined positions of the bunker, dating from the 1940s, are a showcase for contemporary history. Installations show everyday life in the bunker and the international political context of the time.
There is a viewing platform above the bunker as a reward for exploring the narrow stairways, corridors and chambers.
