Thank you for the wonderful exhibition! Going back through the Timmelsjoch we will understand much more about the history of the area. Unfortunately we have not seen any ibexes – but thank you for the explanations, we go to see them now!

Conquer the museum
The Bunker Mooseum is a truly a museum waiting to be conquered. The rock faces along the old valley road to Rabenstein/Timmelsjoch have attracted rock climbers since the 1970s. Now there is an artificial climbing wall at the museum, offering 18 routes up the 30-metre high rock face (difficulty 5c+ - 7b) and 6 routes up the artificial wall. Climbers must bring their own equipment and climb at their own risk.
Visitors to the Bunker Mooseum can watch the climbers both from above and at eye level. The wall’s sheltered south-facing position means that climbing is possible almost all year round.

You can’t rent climbing tools and gear at the museum, but are invited to bring them on your own. The museum does not assume any responsibility or liability for accidents of any nature.
