Thank you for the wonderful exhibition! Going back through the Timmelsjoch we will understand much more about the history of the area. Unfortunately we have not seen any ibexes – but thank you for the explanations, we go to see them now!

Outside the Bunker Mooseum there is a large enclosure where visitors can observe a group of ibex from close up. These impressive wild animals form the unofficial coat of arms of the Texel Group Nature Park; ibex also live in the wild in the Upper Passeier valley. They show off their climbing skills on the rocks near the bunker, scarcely noticing the watching humans.
